What Customers Say About Xbox 360 20GB [Old Version]:

When they shipped it back after the repair, Microsoft had installed the falcon chipset that was supposed to be problem free. It was smooth sailing for the first year, but then my x-box 360 got the RROD. I just sent it back, hoping that the problems will be fixed. The x-box 360 is still the most fun console out there, and I would highly recommend it to anyone buying a console. Just make sure you keep your warranty extended as long as possible, or know how to fix the X-box 360 because no matter how well you take care of your 360, you're going to run into problems, but less with the newer consoles. I thought that it was simply because my x-box was a zephyr.

If you're going to buy a console, I still recommend the X-box 360 over the Wii and PS3 because of its superior game selection, online service, controller, price (to the PS3), and graphics (to the Wii, and the 360 is barely below the PS3). When I first bought this, I thought it was the best thing ever. I thought that all those people that submitted bad reviews just took bad care of their console. I thought it would be the end to my x-box problems, but 3 months later my x-box would freeze anytime from the first few seconds i turned it on until 4 minutes into a game.

20GB memory fill up quick, especially with the cost of the XBOX now, the bigger Hard Drive is worth the buy. I'm already half full with all the updates and the level downloads.

If you don't mind risking failure and don't mind paying for everything you do and get then you'll enjoy this system. I also don't like having to switch out batteries when they go dead. It has a very good games library, and is nice in appearance. Also it doesn't include WiFi for wireless internet, that is also an extra purchase. My harddrive failed after 2 months, and after 4 months the system failed altogether with what's called the RRoD(Red Ring of Death).

You quickly get the feeling you have to pay for every single thing that should come included with this system. The controller is decent however the D-pad is difficult to get to go in the direction you desire since it is round and all connected together. This apparently happens to about 35%+ of all 360s. The reliability of this system is aweful. My brother in law has had 5 fail. You pay $[.]./yr to play online and the service is pretty good, but it should be free and this can become pricey if you have several people in your house that want their own IDs for game saves and acheivements.

Making them rechargable is an extra purchase.

My mom paid 196 somthin for it. So I her son will do a review when it gets here hopefully next week. Fist of all I dont have it yet but hopefully it works. Thats not a bad price especially since it comes w/a rapid fire controller.

My warranty is up, so that means I either pay the $120 to $Microsoft$ and have them repair it, or throw this thing in the garbage and buy a ps3 some day. So I will truly miss this console, good bye xbox 360. I can't believe a company could legally put out such an expensive product that continuously fails. The first ones were the red rings of death. The reason I give this 2 stars instead of 1 is because it's the most enjoyable system to me.

And my 3rd xbox just broke today. I found out that it's a dvd drive failure. I've been wanting blue ray for my hd sony projector anyway. It has better games and a better online service than the other systems in my opinion, and you can watch netflix on it. I am on my 3rd xbox, yes, 3rd.

With this one I put a game in and it says "to play this disc put it in an xbox 360 console". There is no way I'm getting a 4th xbox 360, mostly because I will have to pay for it this time.
